Register a Screen

Any display can become a ShaSha. All you need is the Shasha Studio app and a compatible player device.

Prerequisites

• Shasha Studio app installed on your iPhone or iPad
• A player device (smart TV, media player, or any device running the Shasha Player app)
• Both devices connected to the internet

Step 1: Add a New Screen

Open the Shasha Studio app and navigate to the Screens tab. Tap the + button to add a new screen. Give it a name that helps you identify the physical display — for example, "Lobby TV" or "Storefront Window."

Step 2: Link a Player

After creating the screen, you will see a pairing code. On your player device:

1. Open the Shasha Player app
2. Enter the pairing code displayed in Shasha Studio
3. The player will connect and appear as "linked"

Once linked, the player will display whatever content is assigned to that screen.

Step 3: Assign Content

With your screen registered and a player linked, you can now assign content:

• Direct assignment — Assign a single collection to the screen
• Scheduled playlists — Create schedules to rotate content at specific times

Managing Your Screen

From the screen detail view, you can:

• View the linked player status
• Change the assigned collection
• Edit or remove schedules
• Unlink or archive the screen

Troubleshooting
